Adrian takes a look at Vivaldi's Concerto for Viola d'amore and Lute in D minor, RV 540.
The manuscript survives in Dresden and was published in a special edition to mark the 300th anniversary of Vivaldi's birth, alongside other rather wacky works composed for the visit of the Prince of Poland to the pietà.
Despite the manuscript's beautiful handwriting, there are a few mistakes for Adrian to iron out ahead of performing RV 540 in London next month.
