Toad the Wet Sprocket's first nationwide tour was a set of dates in March and April 1990 opening for Michael Penn. Those shows began in Austin and travelled east to Boston before reversing direction and heading west to Minneapolis. Late March saw the band playing a show at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA. Among the songs they played that evening was this rendition of "Liars Everywhere" that featured Dean Dinning on clarinet and Glen Phillips on bass. The band played the song sparingly for a few more years before they performed it live it for a last known time at the now-defunct DV8 in Seattle, WA on August 8th, 1994.
