Elden Ring Patch 1.09 buffed Curved Greatswords by a considerable amount by "increasing the speed, range and recovery time of some attacks". Morgott's Cursed Sword also specifically saw a buff to its ash of war; Cursed-Blood Slash (increased projectile generation speed and reduced recovery time). The first part of the Ash of War combos into an R2 btw!
