Hey guys! Watch me as I make this delicious Seafood Cornbread Dressing! This is a great alternative to the traditional cornbread dressing. You can add whatever seafood you want! For this recipe, I simply used shrimp and crab. I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
Cornbread:
2 cups of self-rising cornmeal
2 tablespoons of sugar
1.5 cups of milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons of vegetable shortening
**I only used half of the cooked cornbread for this recipe. If you want to omit the Stove Top Stuffing Mix, use the whole pan of cornbread**

Dressing:
1/2 pan of prepared cornbread (use recipe above)
1 box of Stove Top Stuffing Mix
16 oz Chicken of the Sea Crab Meat (use fresh crab, if possible)
1 lb of jumbo shrimp
1/2 can of cream of celery
1/2 can of cream of chicken
3-4 cups of chicken broth
Ground sage
Poultry seasoning
All-purpose seasoning
Black pepper
1 egg
1/2 stick of butter (to sauté veggies)
Yellow onions
Celery
1 teaspoon of chicken bouillon
Nonstick cooking spray
Bake in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes to an hour .
