History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Bolsheviks)
[Chapter One - Part Four]
Carrying on from our previous upload, Lenin's ideological disagreements with Narodism are expanded upon. Owing to the contributions from Lenin and other Marxists of that time, Narodnik activists see their numbers dwindle, with the movement as a whole becoming increasingly less relevant as we approach the new century.
All the while, new political factions arise (namely, "Legal Marxism") intent on taking Narodism's place as Russia's foremost revolutionary movement.
Lenin, steadfast in his convictions, opposes both the "Legal Marxists" and Narodniks, stressing the necessity of extra-parliamentary opposition and of an alliance between the working class and peasantry.
We also learn of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, formed after various left-wing political organisations operating throughout Russia opted to unite and fight for workers' rights under one banner.
