Our new TMC line of tripods are designed exclusively for the cinema and video professionals. Keeping the feel of old cinema tripods with Cine-style leg locks but integrating new technology with our proven carbon fiber legs, RRS melds the best of both new and old.

The FH-7240 is designed for ENG style cameras. Optimized for loads of 28lbs at 6", the FH-7240 has less than 3% counterbalance error through the entire +/- 90° tilt. (Higher loads will result in reduced counterbalance and decreased range and tilt articulation.) A bubble level illuminates with a red LED at the push of a button and will shut off automatically after 15 seconds. The level uses a common battery, easily replaced by a conveniently located access door. Ergonomic features include a lock and crank counterbalance adjustment and easy to operate damping selection. Additionally, the safety release protects the camera rig from accidentally sliding off the head. At around only 8lbs, the FH-7240 is lightweight without sacrificing fluid motion, perfect for on-location shoots.
