British Columbia mountain goat hunts certainly are a challenging test of wilderness skills for just about any outdoors person. The species is made for climbing and can easily move across rocky or icy terrain that would mean certain death for many other creatures.
Living mostly within the Cascade and Rocky Mountain ranges, these creatures often live on the very same mountain face for very long intervals, with seasonal migration patterns moving them from mountain to mountain as the weather dictates. Using their thick, woolly fur coats, they can survive low temperatures of the Alpine areas.
Hunting mountain goats in British Columbia is a matter of climbing mountains. It is therefore not recommended for those who cannot handle that sort of physical duress. Hunting the mountain goat requires physical strength and stamina.
