100 Seconds to Midnight is a reference to the #doomsdayclock. This was conceived of by an organisation called the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, and was a response to emerging concerns about nuclear risk, new technologies, and environmental destruction. As the years progressed, the clock has charted the changes in politics, the #environment, and the way we are responding to ecological emergencies. 30 years ago, the Doomsday Clock was 17 minutes to midnight.
