It is finally complete. Thanks again to Acro748 for working on the MIF - Mu Impact Framework to make my work usable in the game.
Unlike the mods I've worked on before, this mod would never have been complete without the existence of MIF's new Impact Effects feature. because In the vanilla game, the impact data is attached to the object that it occurs on, making it impossible to have the flat direction used in the Separated Slash effects x. This is an awkward implementation.
Now, when an effect generates impact data through the MIF, it is fixed in the air at the moment it is created and no longer attaches to and follows the object.
If I do that... yes. Finally everything works as I intended.
Even if this is quite out of touch with Skyrim, I hope it works well with MCO's intense animations.
With Starfield game release just around the corner, I'm not sure what I've done. But it was so nice to be able to complete what I wanted to make.
