We began our day by waking up at approximately 7 am and enjoying breakfast at Cafe de Corale. Following that, we were picked up by a bus to embark on a half-day city tour. The tour took us to several notable destinations, including the Avenue of Stars (renowned Victoria Harbour promenade), a jewelry factory, and a souvenir outlet. We also visited the West Kowloon Cultural District, where we had the opportunity to capture the beauty of the Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+ Museum through our cameras. Our tour ended in Tsim Sha Tsui, where we were given free time to explore the area in the afternoon. Instead of being transported back to our hotel, we were free to wander and discover Tsim Sha Tsui at our own pace.
We had our lunch at a Dim Sum restaurant, and the experience with their dim sum cuisine was truly memorable; it was authentic dim sum at its finest. Our meal included siomai, steamed rice, tea, and even pizza. After our satisfying lunch, we leisurely strolled around and took photos of various tourist spots, such as the Peninsula Hotel, high-end stores, the Hong Kong Cultural Museum, and the K11 Museum.
Subsequently, we hopped on the MTR to get to Mong Kok and explore Sneaker Street. We made use of our Octopus cards to pay for the MTR fare, simply scanning the card at the machine. Upon reaching Mong Kok, we relied on Google Maps to locate Sneaker Street, where mu friend Josen found the perfect pair of slippers. The area was bustling with numerous shoe stores, earning its reputation as Sneaker Street.
We ended our day by returning to the hotel and having dinner at a 7-Eleven convenience store located nearby. #hongkong
