3 Cross-Step variations to improve your longboard dancing skills!
• 1️⃣ Sidewinder Pro Tip: this move is all about keeping your upper body centered while you swivel that back foot and poke out a carve. Try it like a juke, and if anything keep your weight over the heel side edge.
• 2️⃣ Lazy Susan Pro Tip: make sure to space out your cross-step so you have enough room to swivel your feet without them hitting each other.
• 3️⃣ Cross-Step Over Pro Tip: you shouldn’t be trying to balance how much you’re turning. Rather, step fully on each edge with every step and keep your body centered. Try tightening your trucks to start so you don’t turn as much, but loosen them with time!
