Los testigos de Jehová son una denominación cristiana que surgió en Estados Unidos a finales del siglo XIX. Algunas de sus características son:
Creencias: Son monoteístas y creen que el nombre verdadero de Dios es Jehová. Creen que el mundo actual será destruido por un Armagedón, una lucha entre Dios y Satanás, que podría ocurrir en cualquier momento.
Doctrinas: Creen que la salvación depende de la bondad de Dios, la fe en Dios y el sacrificio de Jesucristo.
Costumbres: No usan la cruz cristiana, no celebran Navidad ni otras festividades, no aceptan transfusiones de sangre, no participan en política y no celebran cumpleaños.
Fundadores: Charles Taze Russell y Joseph Franklin Rutherford.
