Gloomy skies and a light rain will combine to make the evening a rough one for those with designs on spending some time outdoors. Just letting your dog out to do its evening business may be difficult with a cold rain falling on half melted snow. Skies will stay cloudy through the night as light rain ends about daybreak with a very slim chance for a wet snowflake to mix in after about 4 AM. Accumulating snow is not expected and ice likely will not form as area temperatures drop to near freezing but be aware that a few icy spots are possible especially where compressed snow still resides on area streets. Thursday will be another cloudy and cold day with afternoon high temperatures only reaching the middle 30s.
