Join us for a special service led by a worship team, LAC Choir, organ, and orchestra who will help lead us in meditation, prayer, and scripture readings - recreating the emotional and physical hours of Christ's suffering and death on the cross.
A special interactive age-appropriate Good Friday service for children from Kindergarten through 5th Grade will be held at the same time in FL 300 (Warehouse).
----------- About Holy Week -------------
Christians all over the world celebrate “the week that changed the world,” beginning with Palm Sunday, experiencing the Last Supper on or before Maundy Thursday, sharing in observation of the crucifixion on Good Friday, then finally culminating with Easter - Resurrection Sunday - the pivotal moment of the redemption of humanity.
We take the entire week to immerse ourselves in the Scriptures and the significance of the greatest events that have occurred in human history. What do we do with these moments? How do they affect us today?
This year we invite you to engage in a combination of online, streaming, and in-person gatherings for prayer, fellowship, communion, worship, and celebration - as we praise God's victory over death. We hope that you immerse yourselves in both its history and its effect on you at this point in your own journey with Christ; and that God may reveal new truths about His love for you.
We also hope that you will invite others to share in communion at our Last Supper Home Gathering anytime Monday - Thursday at a time and location of your choosing. Then we will come together as we remember His suffering on the cross at our Good Friday Tenebrae Service at 7:30 pm. Finally, we will celebrate the transforming power of Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday morning at either our 7 am Sunrise Outdoor Service or at 9:30 am in the Worship Center and online. We hope you will be blessed and can't wait to see you.
