Listed on the Unesco's World Heritage List as an 'Architectural Masterpiece', Hagia Sophia has been on a journey through empires and tumultuous changes, originally a church, converted to a mosque, then to a museum and recently back to a mosque. This lecture gives the history of these events and analyses what Hagia Sophia symbolizes for Muslims, Christians and the world.
