We say it all the time - maximizing athletic potential and minimizing injury risk are the top two goals of athlete development. So how does fitness level, and the way we condition our athletes, impact both? How fit is fit enough? How should a lack of fitness be managed? And, how should conditioning be planned, progressed, integrated into practice, and evaluated, especially during the competitive season? This session will answer these questions, and will help us understand the art and science of conditioning.
