What is the difference between Bolsheviks and Mensheviks? In this video I'll talk about the Bolsheviki (Bolshevists), a faction that originated from the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party. The Bolshevik Party was a far-left party led by Vladimir Lenin. His centralist approach advocated for a vanguard of revolutionairies that had to seize power. Who was Vladimir Lenin? And what about the other Russian communists, such as: Lev Kamenev and Grigorii Zinov'ev? How did the Bolsheviks seize power during the October Revolution (part of the Russian Revolution).
