The year is XXXX, and it's a Saturday morning. Or weekday afternoon. No school today--you've graduated tomorrow and there's going to be a snow day yesterday. You sit in front of the TV, and it's showing you the cartoons you grew up with, the ones your grandparents grew up with, the ones your young neighbor did... Would it show cartoons your grandkid will grow up with?
In all seriousness, this is a compilation video simulating a fictional TV channel called Meridian Network; it has a schedule stuck between time and space. For our purposes, that means that there's no nostalgia consistency here. Commercials dance around regional and temporal barriers. Cartoons that don't belong together are paired up gleefully. It's a channel that should not exist in this world, and is not meant for its inhabitants--and you get to watch it.
Despite the presence of family-friendly animation, this is not a video meant for children. Above all, Cromartie High School certainly isn't. Select legacy commercials here advertise products that should not, under any circumstance, be advertised to children. On that note, I do not endorse any particular product shown here. I have not been paid by anyone to make this video, nor do I stand to profit from it.

LINER NOTES:
- The Moxy Show, obviously, is not accurate to its original broadcast. The first two cartoons are public domain shorts, and the third is an infamous episode of "Chargeman Ken". Specifically, it's a gag dub I did back in 2021, with comical sound effects and a laugh track thrown in. That said, it's totally something CN would've done, right?
- Cromartie High, as originally aired, aired its 15-minute installments weekly. I decided to pair up two episodes that were right next to each other.
- Just because: I restored the Nickelodeon credits card (sourced from CDCB2) to the very end of the Count Duckula episode, consequently restoring the original Thames vanity card, too. A nice reminder that this was the proto-Nicktoon.
- An episode of Shin-chan is meant to play at the end, but it caused the video to be blocked in all territories. Credits and a single bumper still refer to it.
