The Climate Bonds Standard and Certification Scheme is a voluntary labelling scheme for investments – and now entities – that address the challenge of climate change and are consistent with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.

The Standard was initially designed to support confidence in the climate change credentials of green bonds and other debt instruments and to facilitate investment decision-making.

Now the Certification scheme expands to bridge the market gap in existing guidance on transition financing. It supports all transition, provided the goals, the path and the pace are suitably ambitious.
