Spraying on your clothes is an option, and is a good choice if you are going to wearing multiple layers of clothing and don’t want the scent to get buried.

However, do be careful, the oils from some fragrances could potentially stain your clothes if you put it on too heavy. If in doubt you may want to test on a spot that isn’t noticeable to see if it will cause any discoloration.

Do not spray in the air and walk through it. This is very ineffective because most of the spray will fall to the floor.
