We got lucky and explored Colorado during peak fall colors this year. I was excited to test out ProRes Log on the iPhone 15 Pro Max on some real scenery. I shot all the footage using the 3 built-in lenses using the default camera app. As I was grading it, I was blown away by how easy the footage is to push and pull around, oftentimes forgetting that it was iPhone footage underneath my LUTs. The LUT I used from my Apple Log + Creative pack is the "VeryNice" LUT, then made basic exposure and white balance adjustments underneath. I topped it off with some nice grain and some slight HSL tweaks to get the leaves to really pop.
