Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay was taken into preventive custody hours before voting began in the by-election for Munugode assembly constituency on Thursday. He was taken into custody at 2 am.

Bandi Sanjay's convoy, which was headed to Munugode, was stopped and the BJP leader was taken to Abdullapur Met police station.
