Fruity Frozen Shrikhand Bark
Another fusion recipe is here for you. A perfect summer treat for kids and adults. I make these Shrikhand bark every summer and load it with fruits and nuts. It's really easy to make and the flavor is just out of this world. But you knon what is the hardest part in this recipe .. it is to wait for it to freeze. Check out the recipe below:
What all you need:
32 oz whole milk yogurt
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
Few Saffron strands
Chopped fruits (I have used grapes, apples and mango 2 tbsp cup each)
1 tbsp chopped Pistachios
1 tbsp chopped Almonds
What vou need to do
Line the strainer on a mixing bowl and line muslin / cheese cloth over the strainer.
Pour in the yogurt in the Muslim cloth. Tie all the edges together of the cloth and gently press it.
Place a heavy bowl or any weight over the ties muslin cloth.
Leave it for another 3-4 hours or over night. You will see all the whey has been strained.
With help of spatula, take out the pressed yogurt in the mixing bowl.
Add vanilla essence, powdered sugar and mix well with whisker.
Add Cardamom powder and saffron strands and fold gently.
Line a tray with parchment paper
With help of spatula spread the Shrikhand on it evenly.
Add chopped fruits and nuts. Gently press if required.
Freeze it overnight for best results.
Once done break it and enjoy!!
