The MOST Powerful Audi V8!! 😈 Welcome back to a very wet RBR! Today, we’re getting a first look into the most powerful #Audi V8 ever: the facelift #AudiSport #RSQ8 and the new RS Q8 performance.
Both the facelift and the New RS Q8 performance feature a new front and rear apron with a whole new bumper, new honeycomb grille and customisable lights and the rear sees a redesigned diffuser. Sadly like the Audi S models, the grille loses the RSQ8 badge. Going to miss that, but generally VS the old one, it's a cleaner more aggressive look. Two new 23-inch light-alloy wheels in a 5Y or 6Y spoke design are gorgeous, and really elevate the car
In terms of suspension and drive system, the standard RS Q8 offers an output of 600 PS and 800NM, pretty much as before. But the performance takes it further: 640 PS and 850 Nm of torque! They accelerate from 0–60 in 3.8 or 3.6 seconds respectively, thanks to the quattro all wheel drive system.
The performance also gets more benefits: namely a new, lighter exhaust system provides an even sportier sound, along with removed sound insulation in the interior. The strictly mechanical, self-locking center differential will give Bette cornering feel and less understeer. Adaptive air suspension sport is standard, with electromechanical roll stabilisation optionally available for both models. And finally, the performance gets 5kg lighter, forged-mill 5-Y-spoke wheels in the same design as the RS6 performance and RS4/5 competition.
Can’t wait to drive it, it’ll be interesting to see how it stacks up vs in-house clone the Lamborghini Urus! :)
