Welcome to 181 Fremont. We're so excited to show you all that this unique building has to offer.
181 Fremont is comprised of 55 residences occupying the top 17 floors of the tower. Each floor has no more than 4 residences per floor.
The building was designed by Jeffrey Heller based in San Francisco, who drew his inspiration for the building from his lifelong passion of sailing. You'll note that the building is shaped like a ship coming out of shore. The reverse Chevron midway up the facade is not only a beautiful design element but its function is to reduce the forces of the wind not only to the building but to the pedestrians walking below.
The team at 181 Fremont sought to recreate the San Francisco skyline and create the most resilient residential building on the west coast. In a city where structural integrity is so important Lauren, tell us a little bit more about the build here.
The architects and developers put the structure and soundness of this building above all else. In addition to the pieces throughout there is Gallery 181, in a penthouse suite which houses, exhibitions and curated work from galleries and artists around the globe.
Residences in the building span from 1 to 4 bedrooms. And as of spring 2022 original sale units were available in the 2 and 3 bedroom range. If you're looking for a 2 bedroom residence, those start generally at $2.45 million and above. For 3 bedroom residences those begin at $5.63 million and above. If you're looking for a penthouse suite those are starting at $15 million.
We're here at residence 68B, a half floor penthouse unit offered at $15.5 million. This residence offers two bedrooms plus a den two and a half baths and spans roughly 3,500 square feet. There's so many special things about 181 Fremont but the most special thing is that it's truly a boutique building.
Each residence is a corner unit offering no more than 4 residents per floor unless you're at the half floor penthouse unit where you share the floor with only one other neighbor. This beautiful residence offers 180 degree views from the Bay Bridge to Twin Peaks via these beautiful floor to ceiling windows that span the perimeter of the residence.
There's so many unique details about this unit I'll let Lauren take it from here. I'm here standing in the living space of this beautiful penthouse residence which was expertly designed by Kendall Wilkinson. No detail was left uncovered here.
181 Fremont is actually known for having the best finishes in the game from French Oak floors, to Brazilian countertops to Italian marble throughout.
One specific detail that I think is especially unique are the walls here. They're actually called perfect walls. They don't have baseboards. And they were thoughtfully designed for a resident that of course had their own art collection. They are museum grade.
