This desk allows me the flexibility to stand or sit, although, you may have to remove the items for easier adjustment, it is very simple to do. I like that I get a higher section for the laptop and a lower area for the external keyboard or just desk space. For me, I would need just a tiny bit more space on the top to allow for two laptops, but if you only will have one, that's plenty of space. I gave 4 stars for sturdiness only because if you lean too much on the lower area, it may move it, but if you tighten the thingy (sorry don't know what's that call) hard enough, it will stay put. Due to the lightweight, it is super easy to move around and I really love it and I'm very happy with this purchase.
