The ideal policy is evidence-informed. However, all humans are subjected to biases by nature, which influence the policymaking process. Led by Dr. Lieve Van Woensel from the European Parliamentary Research Service, the internal research service and think tank of the European Parliament, this workshop aims to address the question: How can policymakers strike the right balance between evidence and societal acceptability?
