NOTE: There is a misidentification of the color burst in the video signal analysis portion. The color burst is shown at the beginning of the video field when it is actually in the beginning of each line of video, which cannot be shown in the experimental signal capture due to the low sample rate (and, thus, horizontal resolution) of the capture.

There are aspects of how the video signal is modulated and the chroma is down-converted for storage on the VHS tape that I don't cover in this video. I only cover the visual effects of decreased bandwidth.
