Here is another New Year activity I've been planning for my teletherapy kiddos this week using common household items!
I've seen some videos of DIY party poppers using a balloon but I had to improvise since many of my students do not have balloons.
This party popper is made of a toilet paper roll, paper towel, and rubberband. That's all that is needed for it to work however, you can also decorate the outside of it (as shown in the video) as fun an added bonus 😊 🎉
❗Tips❗
Be careful not to puncture the paper towel after it is glued on the toilet paper roll because then it won't work. This version of the party popper is a bit more delicate therefore, you need to be gentle when pulling the rubberband so it does not break the paper towel (which actually makes it a perfect activity to address graded control!)
