Coming to the dosage of Vitamin D, in a routine pregnancy it is enough if you give about 400 international units of Vitamin D along with calcium. But in some cases where we see severe deficiency of Vitamin D, it can be known only through investigations, that is through the blood levels then it is recommended to taker 60000 international units of Vitamin D per week for about 5 to 6 weeks.
