1. Alia Bhatt

Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt received a death threat call from an unidentified person from a Uttar Pradesh cell number. The caller also demanded Rs 50 Lakh from Mahesh Bhatt and his family. The caller threatened them that if they fail to pay the amount, he would kill Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan.



2. Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar, who hardly gets into controversies, had received death threats over the phone from a man in 2014. Introducing himself as gangster Ravi Pujari, the caller threatened the actor, saying he made a mistake by removing his domestic help. The actor at first suspected it as a hoax call, but after getting threat calls again and again the actor finally registered complaint at Juhu Police station.
3. Salman Khan

Salman Khan has got threats from an anonymous phone caller who has threatened to kill him. On February 16,2016 a phone call was made to city’s Mumbai police control room, threatening to kill the actor.



4. Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty and her husband who are the owners of the Rajasthan Royals team received threat calls from the underworld don Ravi Pujari. Ravi Pujari has asked him to pay a sum of Rs 3 crore or face the dire consequences.
5. Kangna Ranaut

In the year 2007 Kangna filed a police complaint against the stalker who threw acid at her sister, Rangoli’s face. After that the same guy threatening Kangana to throw acid on her face too. Kangna filed a police complaint against the stalker and later he was caught by the police in that year.

6. Sonu Nigam

Versatile Indian singer Sonu Nigam got threats for giving up one of his deal with one of the management companies. Reportedly, Sonu signed a deal for one of his performances at an event and the caller doesn’t want him to obey this deal.
7. Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia who is currently in the news regarding her transformation received death threats from the underworld asking for money in 2011. After which her husband Farhan Azmi increased her security and had applied for a gun license.



8. Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat received a lot of threats when she announced to the world that she will be acting in a movie based on the life of Bhanwari Devi.
9. Karan Johar

Director Karan Johar who was also under the hit list of the underworlds’ had also received extortion threats via text messages from an unknown number, in 2013. He also revealed about this in his autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.



10. Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan received threats from the underworld several times. Shahrukh was asked for a handsome amount of money on a threatening call.
