Ingredients
* 1/2-3/4 pack lb bacon - diced
* 1 small onion - chopped
* 2 cans (55 ounce) Bush’s baked beans preferably Homestyle recipe, undrained
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 5-6 tablespoons light brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
* 2-3 tablespoons molasses
* 2-3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
* 1-2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
* 1/2 stick butter
* 1 teaspoon Liquid smoke (optional)
Dice & cook bacon in cast iron skillet
Drain bacon on paper towels
In same bacon grease cook onions until soft
Empty cans of beans into medium size aluminum pan
Add bacon, onion & other ingredients and stir until well combined.
Optional: for smokey flavor, add Liquid Hickory Smoke.
Bake on 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hour.
May garnish with parsley if desired.
