Why Nehru family is called Gandhi?
The Gandhi surname came from Feroze Gandhi, a politician of Gujarati Parsi ancestry, who after joining the independence movement, changed the spelling of his surname from Ghandy to Gandhi, to match that of Mahatma Gandhi despite not being related biologically.
