Choreographer, alumna and Distinguished Professor of Dance Bebe Miller reprises her 1991 creation with The Hendrix Redux, a chaotic, yet ordered visualization of the music of the legendary guitarist, performed on the original set pieces by Caroline Beasley-Baker. Resetting the piece on a new generation of dancers raises interesting questions about who, and what, lives inside a dance. The work was made during a time of seismic political shifts, and was meant to celebrate community and the potential for change; Jimi came along for the ride.
The work will be presented at Dance Downtown. 8pm Friday and Saturday, November 22-23, 2013 at the Capitol Theatre in Columbus, Ohio. Read more: [ Ссылка ]
