Building New Pathways provides an inside look at all that Black Theatre Coalition has accomplished this past year. Against all odds, amidst the shutdown of theatre and a global pandemic, Black Theatre Coalition increased the number of working Black professionals in the American Theatre.

With performances and speeches by International recording star and Grammy Award winner Vanessa Williams, ABC News’ Deborah Roberts, Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis, Star of GLEE and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Alex Newell, Tony Award Winner La Chanze, Grammy Award winner Kenneth Overton, Grammy Award winner Wynton Marsalis and more. This evening shines a light on the 30 fellows and apprentices making Black History right now.
