After a fair amount of time diagnosing this vehicle I came to the conclusion that the coil packs may be failing intermittently and decided to swap them. A few weeks after replacing the coils I decided to post this video to confirm that replacing the coil packs without receiving a check engine light did indeed correct our issue.
