KLTV recently visited the Cellar Bar at the Lawrence Batley Theatre for Music in Kirklees' first networking event since the launch of the Year of Music 2023.

Professionals from the music and entertainment industries gathered to discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and their plans for the future.

Representatives from The Year of Music team also presented plans for their music industry programme, support for the industry and support from other areas of Kirklees Council.

The event was a great opportunity for local artists and business owners to connect after a prolonged period of isolation and uncertainty for many in the industry.
