Urinary problems, particularly as part of the FLUTD complex (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) are extremely common in cats, and can quickly become life-threatening. Signs might include inappropriate urination (toileting outside the litter tray or spraying), straining, vocalising, increased frequency of urination, or drinking more water.
