Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Aug. 17, 2023: A refresher of a Friday is on the way as we'll be behind the cold front and sitting pretty. It'll be a bit breezy with low humidity. Combining this with daytime highs only in the low 70s, you may need to locate the light jacket for any Friday evening plans.
As we turn towards the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday will feature lots of sunshine. Comfortable humidity and temps will be with us Saturday with highs in the upper 70s. By Sunday the dome of heat that has been to our west all summer will shift east, so you'll notice temps soar into the mid and upper 80s.
We'll return to near 90 to start next week with sunshine and eventually some clouds Tuesday and Wednesday. Humidity will begin to build as well leading to what will likely be the hottest week of the summer, but that doesn't say much as we've had a relatively cool summer with only one 90-degree day so far.
