A walk up the hill to the Marienberg Fortress, with a brief tour of the 13th-century Würzburg fortress and a clear view of the city and vineyards. The walk starts at the Zell Gate (Zeller Tor) and takes you through the beautiful Japanese Garden up the hill in autumn. The fortress is at the top of the hill overlooking the city and the river Main. You walk around the castle to discover the medieval architecture and the Rapunzel towers and at the end, you get some time to see what an old German city looks like from top-down.
