On February 11, 2023, Lake County, Florida sheriff's deputies responded to a local big box store for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Asset Protection employees had been monitoring two females as they loaded up a shopping cart with baby formula. One suspect, a juvenile female, was arrested while exiting the store with the shopping cart. The suspect adult suspect was apprehended a short time later near the checkout lanes.
