The Preludio to Bach Partita #3 is one of the most well known pieces in classical literature. It was written in 3/4. I re-wrote it in 4/4 and had my friends John and Cole add synth bass and a beat.
Sheet music for the violin part is available for purchase on my website: mattbellviolinist dot com
I also wanted to explore some different sonic textures with the violin, so I used four basic flavors - acoustic, distortion, delay, and synth. The visual elements of the video correspond to those different sounds.
Thanks to everyone who inspired me and helped me make this happen.
