I verified ExtraSonic per 50 over 2 years ago and got a bit of recognition in the Russian community for doing so even before verifying Diabolic Clubstep. The reason why I beat this and not the full version is mainly because it was more "true" to me, as the level's creator did not actually alter anything past the swingcopter (ExtraSonic per 50 on Kotovskuy's account is a recreation).
I noticed how much time had passed and how ExtraSonic still hadn't been verified, and I played it again out of sheer boredom, realized that its second half was easier than I remembered it being. Knowing that I had already passed the first half of the level 3 times, I decided it'd be a fair decision to verify ExtraSonic. For some reason my fps dropped to consistently below 100 (and to 30 in extreme cases) if I paused the level for too long, and I had to reopen the level to get the fps back to 360/240. I also have this bug on Surface now and maybe on every level idk what this is
This is harder than Thinking Space and Bloodlust by a lot and not much easier than Tartarus and Diabolic Clubstep. Fun how I came into this level expecting it to be around Sonic Wave difficulty lmao. I can finally have an actual hard second hardest!
Evasium (Evasim xdddd) first half is the hardest part by far it has a 2-3 and a 4 frame timing on 240fps and a REALLY STUPID triple buffer click that I hated in Ultrasonic and it's worse here The midsection fluctuates between being very consistent on one session and very inconsistent on the next one. Sumsar is also pretty hard it's like 91-100 in Thinking Space but 92-97 is not easy
The song does not fade in in the level. I used level edit to make it fade in because I changed music offset to -100ms to preserve muscle memory from 2021 for the first half and it made the song bug out right at the start and it bothered me
The level got nerfed by the publisher and I'm pretty sure there's no showcase of the version that I verified. It is still the official version
Despite how much I struggled with the level I still enjoyed this experience, practicing and playing it from 0 was really satisfying for some reason. I think playing this is a somewhat similar experience to playing Thinking Space (especially in my case where I beat the first half over 2 years ago). Even though there are some inconsistent bits in the first 60% of the level, the last 40% is where the difficulty ramps up. Evasium and Sumsar are separated with a break part just like 67-73% and 88-100% parts are separated by 74-87% in Thinking Space, and Evasium is more on the raw skill and consistency spectrum while Sumsar is more towards being luck-based (which too resembles Thinking Space balancing). The difference is that the easy half of ExtraSonic is much harder than the easy half of Thinking Space. I only really started getting actually nervous at Sumsar's wave which is very late for me. Even though I had a total of 13 deaths at Sumsar none of the deaths were to nerves really except for the second 97% death I'd say. I noticed that even though the level started off very inconsistent and has a few chokepoints, I was getting more and more consistent at the whole level overall day by day and I was sure it was gonna be over soon which might be similar to how SWI works according to nSwish. However I got UNBELIEVABLY unlucky after I got 97% the first time. I actually can't believe having so many unintentional 97% deaths before beating the level is possible.
Но в целом сбалансирован. Все равно уровень имба
