Swiss Gerbeaud
Ingredients:
500 g flour
250 g butter
20 g yeast + 150 ml lukewarm milk
3 tbs powdered sugar
half pack of baking powder
1 egg + 2 egg yolk
Mix these ingredients. Stir until it's combined. Knead it, then cut it into 4 pieces. Roll them.
Grind 400 g walnut, mix it with 250 g sugar.
Put baking paper in a baking pan. Put the first loaf in the pan, lubricate it with marmalade. Then, put the walnut and sugar mix on it. Layer it in the same way: dough, marmalade, walnut-sugar mix. Make little holes in it, through the dough. Bake it at 180° until it's golden-brown.
Glaze: 2 tbs cocoa powder, 6 tbs powdered sugar, 2 tbs water. When it starts boiling, turn the hotplate off, then put 5-10 g butter in it and mix the glaze. Pour the glaze on the top of the dessert. Wait until the glaze dried, then slice it up.
