This is Sushi Dokoro Yamamoto, which is invite-only. It is HANDS-DOWN the BEST sushi I have ever had and I was luck enough to have been introduced by friends.
Places like this are common in Japan and always offer a very intimate experience, offering fresh food and a menu that has been carefully thought-out by the restaurant master. Even the sake is ordered from special brewery's from all over Japan and are curated to give the best combination of flavor and relaxation to the customer.
If you were to ask me what real, authentic sushi was from Japan, THIS would be it.
