Natural Healthy Cooking: A destination for Salt and Oil free cooking.
Ingredients:
1. Dondakaya / Ivy Gourd - 500 gms
2. Green Chilies - 4
3. Curry Leaves - some
4. Roasted & grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
5. Koorala Podi / Curry Powder - 2 tsp
Method:
1. Cut Dondakaya into 6 vertical slices
2. Cut green chilies into 4 slices
3. On a hot pan roast the curry leaves & green chilies
4. Add dondakaya and toss it up
5. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes
6. Occasionally remove the lid and sprinkle water so that donda doesn't stick to the pan.
7. Add roasted & grated coconut and stir and let it cook for another 5 minutes
8. Add koorala podi and cook 5 minutes more
9. Our dondakaya fry is ready.
Serve hot with roti, phulka or brown rice.

About us:
Inspired by Dr. Manthena Satyanarayana Raju's work we have started this channel as 'Dr. Manthena's Kitchen' in February 2017 with an intent to take his work to larger audience as his teachings were restricted to Telugu audiences only. Slowly people started recognizing our work and began to connect with our channel.
In the process I learned about Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Dr. B.M. Hegde, Dr. Khader Vali and very much inspired by their work in the field of health education. Slowly we started combining their recipes in our channel keeping the basic concept of Dr. Manthena's recipes of cooking without oil, salt, sugar, ghee, red chili powder, ripe tamarind and masalas.
As we progressed into second year we started getting emails saying that by following the recipes shown in our channel many people have got rid of serious ailments. All credits to the above mentioned doctors. We just became a medium of conveying their work to people at large.
In the month of September our channel took a rebirth as "Natural Healthy Cooking" since Dr. Manthen Satyanaryana Raju has started his official channel on Youtube. Upon his request and his blessings we are still going on as "Natural Healthy Cooking"
