Grias to Pidima Beach, is located on the southeast coast of Andros. The dominant feature of the beach is an amazing tower-like rock formation. The beach name means "Where the Old Woman Jumped", and took its name from a legend. It is believed that during Turkish rule, and old woman seeking refuge at the Castle of Kohilos inadvertently allowed the Turks into the castle. Full of shame, the old lady jumped from the cliff. Grias to Pidima is an incredible sandy beach with clear blue water. There are no umbrellas or chairs on the beach, and is a must-see on Andros.
