I’ve been extracting my blackheads lately with a blackhead extractor tool and I must say this tool is fantastic to keep the nose area very clean and pores less visible.

The one that I have right now it’s called the angle loop which I use for scraping dry blackheads / whiteheads and unclogging sebum in the pores.

How I use this blackhead extractor tool is pretty simple. First I disinfect the extractor tool with some alcohol, then I clean my skin with a mild cleanser and warm water, after this exfoliate a little bit. During the extraction process I keep putting warm compress to make sure pores are soft and open all time. When you are done it is recommended to put on a spot treatment or some raw honey to prevent bacteria.

Tip: I find it very useful to keep my skin damp during the extraction to provide a better slide and less friction on the skin than if you use it on dry skin.

Extract with gentle pressure and if a blackhead or whitehead don’t come out leave it alone it will eventually pop! Redness on the skin will go away about 30 minutes so if you have time put on a cold compress.
