South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said that North Korea fired an unspecified ballistic missile off its east coast. Japan’s military also reported a launch. The missile was in air for 74 minutes and travelled around a thousand kilometres. The latest test comes barely a month after North Korea's last launch. North Korea’s test missile launch is being seen as a retaliatory move to alleged US spy plane over its territory. The isolated North has previously reacted angrily to the U.S. and South Korea joint military drills, calling them a rehearsal for its invasion.
