My Pay Increase Promoting from SDR to AE in Software Sales Job

The only thing more important than the sun rising in the morning is the pipeline generated by SDRs. SDR : 50k-85k (1-3 years) AE: 90k-180k (3-8 years) ENT AE: 185k- 400k (8-20 years) The reason we make so much is because the completely of the deals. Because so many of you enjoyed Software Sales Salaries I wanted to talk about my own experience working in software sales and how much my income has increased promoting from SDR to AE. When I first got hired in software sales my OTE was $50k, I quickly promoted. My first full year working my OTE was $60k, I made $80k in 2019. My second full year working my OTE was $80k and I made $113k. Expect to earn between $40k-$60k when you first get hired in software sales. Make sure your company has accelerators. #Sales
